Properties in 7 more Bay Area cities offered help for strengthening

Earthquake Brace + Bolt Program The state’s program to provide $3,000 grants to eligible homeowners has expanded to more Bay Area cities on uncertain fault lines.

Is your property earthquake ready?

If not, you may be eligible for up to $3,000 from a newly expanded state program toward a seismic retrofit, which will keep your home attached to its foundation during the next major earthquake.

The funding — available starting Wed and only for thirty days — is offered to eligible properties in the Bay Area cities of Hayward, San Mateo, Redwood City, San Bruno, Daly City, Colma and El Cerrito.
